How long does food waste take to decompose when you send it to landfill?
depending upon the size and weight of the product but it takes much longer that you expect. For example, according to some studies a simple orange peel will take around 6 months to decompose. Just imagine huge piles of waste often found at landfills so you can gain a better understanding of this problem

1.3 billion tons of food is wasted worldwide every year.
UAE. on average, a person wastes around 225 kg of food each year in the UAE. have noted that food wastage is estimated to be 3.2 million tons, with around 38% of the food prepared daily in the UAE ending up being wasted.
